Established in 1990, Green Environmental Consultants has developed into one of the UK's leading small consultancies, providing independent and high quality ecological services.
By remaining independent of the large multi-disciplinary consultancy companies, we can react promptly and efficiently to both small and large scale projects, and provide our clients with personal and face-to-face services. Working to maintain the highest professional standards, Green Environmental Consultants adhere to the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management's Code of Professional Conduct.
Our client base includes planners, developers, landscape architects and civil engineers, as well as local authorities, statutory agencies (eg English Nature, the Environment Agency), and non-statutory organisations such as wildlife charities.
Jacqui Green, Director and principal ecologist, has a background with statutory agencies and a wildlife charity, before setting up as a freelance consultant. Concentrating on surveys, translocations and field based expertise, Jacqui strongly believes in nurturing the next generation of ecologists. As such she regularly tutors students and others in field survey techniques.
